Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Palet, a color-palette tool at usepalet.com. By using Palet, you agree to them.
1. The service
Palet lets you generate, refine, preview, and export color palettes and design tokens. An optional account lets you save palettes and sync them across devices. Some features are provided free of charge; we may add, change, or introduce paid features over time.
2. Your account
- You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure (sign-in uses your email).
- Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate others.
- Accounts are for individuals; don’t share credentials.
3. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Use Palet for anything unlawful, or to infringe others’ rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, resell, or misrepresent the service.
4. Your content
Palettes you save remain yours. You grant us the permission needed to store and display that content back to you so we can provide the service. (Note that individual colors and hex values are generally not protectable on their own.)
5. Our intellectual property
Palet — including the software, design, the “Palet” name, and branding — belongs to us. These terms don’t give you rights to our trademarks or to copy the service itself.
6. Availability & changes
We work to keep Palet available and reliable, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
7. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palet is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated colors will meet your specific requirements.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palet and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using Palet and request account deletion at any time (email support@usepalet.com). We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of Palet is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
